Booking and Payment

First, fill out the booking form and pay the $400 booking fee for each service chosen. Depending on the payment option you selected your payment terms will vary.

Should your wedding be cancelled for a genuine reason, Emotion may refund your full booking fee. However, if you simply choose to cancel your wedding photography with Emotion. A $400 cancellation fee will apply per package booked.
After the refund is approved. We will deposit funds directly into your original credit card. therefore, making it easy.
If you need a little more time to pay, that’s a-ok with us. We offer four ways for you to pay at a pace that works for you.
- All In – Pay 100% upfront and receive a free digital slide show worth $220.
- Time Saver – Pay the required booking fee, then the rest over time PRIOR to your wedding.
- Committed – Pay the required booking fee and the rest one month before your wedding.
- Future – Pay the required booking fee, then the rest over time (even if that is AFTER your wedding).
All your photos will be online within 2 working days after your wedding. Please allow extra time for regional areas. We will send you an email once your gallery is live.
We’ll keep your photos in your online gallery for 12 months. But it’s still a good idea to download them onto your computer and store them yourself. For your absolute peace of mind though, we also keep a backup of all our clients’ wedding photos.
We host your photos on our own commercial-grade servers… that are secure to the max. Nobody will be able to see your gallery (unless you give them permission) – so your photos are always fully-protected and controlled by you.
Of course! After all, who wants blurry shots of Aunt Alma busting her moves on the dance floor? All your photos will be sent to you as high-res JPEGs– at the same pixel dimensions your photographer used to create the photo.
Absolutely. We’re all about sharing the love. Simply share your gallery link with your chosen friends and family. They’ll then be able to admire your photos and invite others to do the same. But they won’t be able to download them. Only you can do that.
At EMOTION, we specialise in candid, documentary-style wedding photography that ensures honesty and authenticity. But since it’s your wedding, we still want to hear every single photo idea you have in mind.
We think it is highly unlikely that you will not be delighted with your wedding photos. One of the reasons we only use talented and experienced photographers is because we know our photographers know what they are doing, and they know how to take great photos. They understand all the key elements such as lighting, exposure, composition, framing and the dynamics of a wedding. In the unlikely and unfortunate event that you don’t like your photos, we will discuss your concerns with you. Obviously, a wedding is a once-only event and cannot be repeated, but we will do everything in our power to make sure you are satisfied.
The hours your photographer will stay at your wedding depends on the package you choose:
- The “Close Up” offers up to three consecutive hours of professional photography.
- The “Big Picture” offers up to 8 consecutive hours of professional photography.
- Don’t worry, if you need more hours, just add them to your cart!
Yes! Every EMOTION photographer is covered by comprehensive public liability insurance – for their peace of mind and yours.
Absolutely! Every EMOTION photographer holds a current police crime check certificate. We insist on this! So not only are they great photographers, they are also good people!
Yes, we are ok that your friends take some shots too, however, there are times when it’s best for friends to unplug and enjoy the day and let the professional create the images that you are expecting. Emotion’s policy is that when they have been hired by the wedding couple, they are the sole professional photographer on the day.
Yes! Add “The Moving Picture” to your cart and a videographer for up to six consecutive hours starting at your ceremony through the reception. Need more hours? Just add more to your cart. In the end, you will receive a captivating 30-60-minute film combining your video and photos.
Easy! Just select the Big Picture package on the booking form and the Moving Picture package option will appear below.
Select the Moving Picture package for up to six hours of videography starting at the wedding ceremony.
Add extra hours if required at $250 per hour.
We offer a unique fusion of video and still images in our Moving Picture package. Our videographers will arrive at your ceremony location one hour before the ceremony begins to set up their equipment. Your videographer will be on hand for six hours. They will capture every moment of your ceremony before moving on to set-up at the reception ready to capture your entrance, speeches, and all those important ceremony moments. Our editors will use this video with a selection of the best images from your day to create a 30–60-minute fusion video that encapsulates every moment and emotion from your special day.
Please note that the Moving Picture package can only be booked in conjunction with the Big Picture package.
